Consecration, Installation, and Reception

File consists of four copies of the pamphlet "A Consecration of A Bishop: Consecration of Most Reverend Francis P. Carroll, D.D., Bishop of Calgary, Alta, St. Michael's Cathedral, Toronto, February 19, 1936 and a news clipping "Magnificent Celebration of St. George's Day in St. Michael's Cathedral, Toronto" from the Catholic Register, May 1, 1941. Includes matted photograph of Bishop Francis P. Carroll with the priests of the Diocese of Calgary and a printed copy of the pamphlet "The Consecration of a Bishop: a Brief Explanation of the Ceremonies" produced for the consecration of Francis P. Carroll at St. Michael's Cathedral, Toronto, February 19, 1936. The photograph was taken on Thursday, March 26, 1936 after the Pontifical Mass at St. Mary's Cathedral at the Palliser Hotel. All priests are identified. Includes drafts of speeches relating to Carroll's reception in Calgary, planning documents and newspaper reports
